What is calcium silicate board?
Calcium silicate board is a rigid, non-asbestos thermal insulation material based on xonotlite (6CaO·6SiO₂·H₂O). It combines low thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength and excellent fire resistance, with a service temperature up to 1100°C.
What density should I choose?
Lower densities (250–650 kg/m³) are used where thermal insulation and light weight are the priority. Higher densities (800–1200 kg/m³) are chosen where compressive strength and load-bearing capacity matter — for example structural insulation and molten metal contact. Our density guide helps you match grade to application.
What is the maximum service temperature?
Low-density insulation grades are rated to a maximum service temperature of 1050°C (continuous ≤950°C), while high-density structural grades are rated up to 1100°C.
Can boards be CNC machined?
Yes. We provide CNC machining and custom shaped parts produced to your drawings, including cut-to-size boards, machined profiles and complex shaped components.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes. Standard sizes include 1230×1230 mm, 1250×2500 mm and 1200×600 mm with thickness from 6 mm to 160 mm. Custom dimensions and OEM production are available on request.
